Villa Christina could not have been better! Absolutely perfect location in lakka just a short walk to the town and the most beautiful beaches. A great small town, local vibe and a good place for boat watching. The house is spacious with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. The host was very quick to respond and organised a taxi to and from the port for us. Perfect little island stay and amazing value! We will be back

Villa Christina is a lovely home and Tony and Julia were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our little girl (age 3) and were slightly worried that it would be too far to Lakka - but needn't have been. It's a short walk and easily done. The villa is spotless and well maintained and had everything we could have needed. Tucked into the hillside amongst olive trees, we couldn't have been happier with the location. Aircon was welcome in the bedrooms at night. Highly recommended!

Our third visit to Villa Christina and it was just as wonderful. immaculately clean, every thing in perfect working order and the warmth of welcome from Julia is just lovely. It certainly feels like staying at a friends house -and it is certainly a well looked after villa. We spent hours sitting outside at nightime - it is so peaceful - there is very little light pollution so we saw a lot of shooting stars. Just the right distance from lovely Lakka - popping up and down thoses steps to get bits and pieces, day or night, you are treated to a great view of the harbour. Thank you so much Julia and Tony for your thoughtful and kind welcome - we have such good memories of our holiday.

Villa Christina is perfect for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. The views from all the windows and both terraces are stunning, and it is a short walk to the beautiful harbour and beaches of Lakka. The house is well equipped with a good mix of modern facilities and a traditional farmhouse feel, and the local supermarket delivers your shopping for free! The lovely Julia and her family could not have been more welcoming and genuinely keen to make sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. My teenage daughters and I loved Villa Christina and cannot wait to return.

Villa Christina is the perfect place to stay. Our family felt so at home there. We were very comfortable in the house and absolutely loved the stunning grounds. Ιουλια was very friendly and accommodating. She was very helpful and kept the place immaculate. We hope to be fortunate enough to be able to stay again sometime!

Villa Christina is a beautiful and quiet house to stay as a family with young kids. Their is enough space around for young boys to play and when it rains, we stayed very early in the season, also indoors is enough space. The reason for staying is of course the beautiful island of Paxos. This villa is an excellent base to explore the island, a copy of the indispensable Bleasdale map is present. We had a great week on Paxos!

This was our second trip to this property as we loved it so much the first time! Fantastic location, amazing facilities and a truly welcoming host all made us feel right at home! The house is five minutes walk from lakka town yet feels amazingly quiet and private, and if you are going for an out of season trip the heating in the bedrooms is such a rare treat! The house is well decorated, neat and modern and spotlessly clean. Thank you for another wonderful trip!

This property is well located about 7 minutes walk from Lakka. It is very peaceful and the house has all the amenities to make one's stay comfortable. It was like a home from home. Julia was very keen to be helpful and really cared that we would enjoy our stay. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a pretty house in a peaceful location. Lakka and Paxos were also beautiful and very special.

A much needed early summer stay after cold, wet British winter. The villa was very clean and ready upon our arrival with a selection of goodies in the fridge. Comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout. We spent everyday using the Ian Bleasdale walkers map to find a different beach for swims and picnics (bring wet shoes for pebbly beaches) most days we had Orkos, or Lakkos or Mesorachi beach to ourselves. The fish man parks daily around 10.30 am near the square with the cash machine to sell fresh sardines. We tried Stasino’s garden restaurant and Alexandro’s taverna and can highly recommend them both. With the added excitement of spotting fireflies whilst climbing the steps out of the town on the walk home. A relaxing family time, thank you.

Without a doubt this is a lovely place to stay. The hosts were great with communication even going so far as to warn us that ferries were cancelled due to the Easter break. The house is spotlessly clean and has all the major facilities you require including washing machine, dishwasher and a well equipped kitchen. The house has a nice sense of the traditional whilst having a very modern feel. There were basic amenities left for us including water, wine, fruit juice, coffee , tea and Olive oil. The house is secluded and has a wonderful sense of privacy but is actually only a four or five minute walk away from the centre of town. Louisa was fantastically helpful even after I phoned her by mistake thinking I was talking to the local taxi driver. She sorted it all out for me which was well above and beyond what is to be expected. I have no reservations in recommending this property.

Villa Christina is lovely traditionnel house, with a nice view to the olive tree valley. We stayed there two weeks at the end of spring and there were a lot of flowers around, with very good smells of orange tree while opening the window in the morning... A lot of incredible beaches and precious paths all around. We really felt at home ! And the owners are really very kind and helpfull.

Absolutely perfect! We had a great time in Paxos and loved our stay at Villa Christina. The views are spectacular, the house inside simple and nicely decorated. My children loved playing outside the house with the rocks. We loved having dinner outside (take mosquito repellent with you) and looking at the moon in the evenings. Julia and Tony were extremely helpful and gave us advice on transport, shops. beaches...etc. We did not want to leave. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Villa Christina is a very beautiful and comfortable family house located among typical Greek olive trees - a quiet and hidden place located only a few minutes walk up the hill from the centre of Lakka. Ioulia is a very caring and friendly host who will make sure that everything is going well during your stay in the idyllic village of Lakka!

Julia was a wonderful host. She was extremely helpful, kindly arranging our ferry to Paxos and our taxi when we arrived. The house is wonderful. Secluded but within easy reach of the beautiful beach at Lakka, and plenty of lovely restaurants. It's also extremely well equipped, making it easy to whip up breakfast or even a barbecue. We would stay here again and recommend it whole heartedly to others.
Louise, July 2017
Charming and superb location. We spent a wonderful 10 days at Villa Christina. Tony and Ioulia were very welcoming and Villa was charming, comfortable and everything we hoped it would. You even get your own cat called Olive. Lakka is ideal if you want a Greek holiday of lounging/ beaches during the day and eating/drinking at Tavernas at night. We would go back tomorrow!
Paul, July 2017
Villa Christina is simply wonderful. Peaceful and yet only a 5 minute walk from Lakka. Julia & Tony were exceptional hosts. Lakka is a great little village with many restaurants and a small beach. If you want to relax then this is the place to go.

Great holiday The location of the villa is perfect as it is only 5 minutes walk outside Lakka and is very quiet and peaceful. The villa itself is immaculate and everything provided was clean and functional. Julia, the owner was delightful, very thoughtful and could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. At the end of a day out on a boat or on the beach or at the end of an evening out it was always a joy to come back to the villa. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Julia and Tony for all your help.

Tony and Julia's place in the hills of Lakka is an absolute find. It is tucked away above the village, so very quiet and peaceful. Opening the shutters in the morning to the trees and the birds was a real treat. The house has been beautifully refurbished and has everything you need. It is about 10 minutes to walk to the charming village which has heaps of very good restaurants. The beaches in this area too are crystal and absolutely gorgeous. Tony was the host supreme, coming to collect us during a ferry strike and generally being our translator and guide. By the red of our stay he felt like a friend. Thanks guys, we will be back to visit again.

Fanatastic - Go there! Wow! The word that left all our lips when we arrived. This is a beautiful house in a stunning spot. It's about a five minute walk from Lakka which was perfect as it's just out of the way but also close enough to have everything to hand. It's also a little up the hill so the views are amazing and it's exceptionally peaceful. The house itself is beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was ideal for our four year old who loved exploring around it. It was great to have so much outside space, two spots to choose where to eat outside! Julia met us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome, as did all the people on the island, such a friendly place. Tony, Julia, thankyou for sharing this place with us and for all your help (please see my review of their Corfu property Villa Chrysoula where we spent a couple of nights before crossing over to Paxos), we'll have some very special memories.

Julia was a charming host and was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. She organised taxis for us and was always available to answer any questions we had. The location of the villa was amazing! It overlooks hills covered with olive trees and has an attractive terraced garden with bougainvillea, lemon trees and perfumed jasmine. We ate our breakfasts on the lower terrace and our dinner on the upper one under the stars at night. Both terraces have wonderful views over the hills. Dining on the upper terrace felt like being in a four-star hotel! The place was spotlessly clean, with fresh bed linen and towels. It was as well equipped as a private home with such amenities as a washing machine, dishwasher (washing products supplied), iron and ironing board, TV and wifi. The kitchen has recently been renovated and is modern and efficient. The location of the villa up above the village of Lakka makes it a really peaceful place to relax and get away from it all, but it is only a short walk to the harbour, beaches, shops and tavernas. For us, there was another highlight to our visit: an adorable little ginger kitten rescued by Julia's son George and named after him. "George" is currently based at the villa (he has an outside shelter if you didn't want him in the house). He is playful and cute and so much fun. We loved looking after him and he made the villa seem even more like a home. Thank you so much, Julia: we had a truly wonderful holiday at Villa Christina.

A lovely week! We had a delightful stay in villa Christina. Julia and Tony bent over backwards to make the stay successful. The location was great ( about 6 minutes walk to the harbor). The villa was spacious and comfortable and the welcome pack was generous. I will feed back a few improvements to the owners

Julia was an amazing host - so friendly and welcoming. She was a generous and informative host and it was a pleasure to meet her and to stay in her fabulous house. The holiday was incredible and the location perfect.

Lovely villa above Lakka Spent the last week in Villa Christina and me and my family (3 kids aged 16, 10 and 8) enjoyed every minute. Lakka is a beautiful quiet town with excellent safe beaches for younger children. Perfect for a daily swim. Villa Christina is a 5 minute walk up the hill. It's surroundings are lovely, it's well equipped and well managed with a midweek sheet/towel change included. Julia and Tony and their family were on hand to help should there be any problems and turned up to fix the water when it was suddenly turned off, within 10 minutes of our email. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the villa, like many of the houses in Paxos is on a hillside on a few different levels so may not be suitable for families with wandering toddlers and the hill climb may put off some others although one of my enduring memories will be returning home by torchlight and looking at the amazing stars with my children, which we wouldn't have done had we stayed in the centre of Lakka. Overall a great villa on a stunning island.

Lovely villa with panoramic views The villa itself was wonderful, full of character, very light and airy, and with a brand new kitchen. There are two outdoor eating areas which have astounding views of the pine tree valleys. The owner is so helpful and kind. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Delightful rustic property We stayed for 4 nights with our teenage son in mid July. The owner could not have been more helpful she helped by booking the transport from Corfu and arranging for a taxi to meet us and take us to the villa when we arrived in Paxos. She and her delightful family made us most welcome when we arrived. The villa is charming and has a kind of lovely traditional feel to it, and is clean and comfortable. Lakka itself is a short walk away and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, would thoroughly recommend it!

Loved It I really liked this villa. It is rustic in places but clean, charming and private. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen, two reception rooms, and, more importantly, two patios – and a bbq for hazy evenings eating, drinking wine and playing cards. There were five of us but it didn't feel cramped. The lady who runs it was lovely, always had a smile on her face. I know if we’d had a problem with anything she’d have moved mountains to help. And then there is Olive the cat. She turned up each morning and evening, meowing on the step and rubbing against our legs. She was so thin and gobbled up everything we gave her, so if you go stay please feed her! The location is about a five minute walk outside Lakka and another two minutes or so to a beach. Lakka itself is rammed with nice restaurants and places to rent boats, buy food etc, and the locals are so friendly. The sea is as clear as cut glass and just breathtaking. At the end of the week we all decided on something: we’re coming back here for sure. The only thing missing was a pool. But the sea is only 5 mins away, so it's no biggie.
